Aluminum hydroxide is an inorganic substance. The chemical formula Al(OH)3 is the hydroxide of aluminum. Aluminum hydroxide can react with acid to form salt and water, and can react with strong alkali to form salt and water. Therefore, it is an amphoteric hydroxide.
