1) Ingredient: alumina polishing powder, the main ingredient is calcined at high temperature α- Al2O3 powder.
2) Crystal hardness: the calcination temperature for preparing alumina polishing powder should be high, generally above 1600, so as to ensure that the product has good hardness.
3) Single crystal size and shape: the single crystal size determines the thickness of the surface texture of the polished product, which is not easy to clear. Round or elliptical crystals are easy to throw out black light, diamond crystals are easy to throw out yellow and white light, and flake or flocculent crystals have poor grinding force and are not easy to give out light.
4) Average particle size and distribution: different polishing processes are determined according to the average particle size, generally 20-45 μ The particle size of M is used in the rough polishing process, 4-20 μ m. The particle size is used in the middle polishing process, 1-4 μ M particle size is used in fine polishing process, 1 μ M or less is used for mirror polishing. The narrower the particle size distribution, the higher the polishing efficiency.
